GSAC 2nd Annual 9-Hole Golf Tournament!

On May 1, 2010, the Graduate Student Affairs Council will host our Second Annual Nine Hole Golf Tournament, at the Texas State Golf Course. GSAC is an organization made up of graduate students who are working and preparing for careers in the field of college student affairs. Our Golf Tournament is an event to raise funds for Professional Development scholarships. Each semester, we send our membership to regional and national conferences, culminating each spring with The Placement Exchange, an annual job placement conference hosted by CUHO-I, ASCA, NACA, NASPA, NODA, AFA, and HigherEdJobs.com.

The tournament will be open to 2-person teams, at a cost of $80 per team, which includes green fee and golf cart. It will begin at 9am with a "shotgun start" and will be organized in a Scramble format.

We will have "goodie bags" for all players at check-in, and we will be awarding prizes for First Place, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Most Honest Team... and one surprise award! Mulligan tickets will be available for $5 each or five for $20.

All players and fans will be invited to join us for lunch at Pluckers at noon. (we have a profit-share agreement with the restaurant, so you will be supporting GSAC by eating lunch-something you all do every day!)

Please find a teammate, fill out the attached registration form and email it back to me. I will send you an invoice and we will make arrangements for payment.

Thank you for supporting the Graduate Student Affairs Council by helping us make this event a success!
