Ruston Hicks is the first ever winner of the Golf Simulator League. There will be another league in the spring. Dates TBA.

Golf Simulator League

This fall we will be starting a golf simulator league. It is individual stroke play, with only 21 spots available. The league will consist of seven weeks of regular season golf, with members playing six rounds with one bye. If interested, leave an email address at the pro shop/golf simulator. You can also email jg1422@txstate.edu (Jonathan Galan/league coordinator). Prizes will be awarded to the top three players.

Texas 2-Man is Back Every Thursday

Texas Two Man Scramble
2 Person / 9 Hole Scramble
Start at 5:15 p.m.

Texas Two Man Scramble will also be held at the Texas State Golf Course. The event will begin Thursday March 26th and will continue weekly throughout the summer and fall. The game is $5 per player and pays cash. Big turnouts means big payouts!

• Fees: $5.00 entry fee plus green fee (carts are extra)
• Format: 2 person scramble
• Prizes: Cash prizes are awarded. Payouts are based on the number of entries.

Homecoming Golf Tournament

Date: October 31, 2009
Check-In: 8:30 AM with 9:00 Shotgun Start
Entry Fee: $35.00 per player (Checks payable to "Texas State Golf Course")
Location: Texas State Golf Course
Format: Two Person Team, 18 Hole Scramble
Prizes: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes as well as "Closest to the Pin", "Longest Drive", raffle prizes, and gift bags

First Annual 1 Man Scramble

September 7,2009 @ 4 p.m. the Texas State Golf Course will be holding our first annual 1 Man Scramble Golf Tournament bennefiting the Folds of Honor Foundation.   Each player will hit two shots and the player will select the best shot.   Entry fee $7 plus green fee.    Cash payout for top finishers

Two for one - Wednesdays

Students are 2 for 1 on Wednesdays.  That’s golf all day for $3.50 if you bring a friend.  

 

Great Day for Golf

It is currently clear and 77 degrees at the Texas State Golf Course.  The course is in great shape so come out and enjoy the cooler weather.
